Blue Dog offers a fun, unique and dynamic set of 90 minutes of music. The set is packed with well-known classics and sing-along favourites. The band is also made up of Manchester based singer and guitarist, Martim Pocinho and Leicester born Matt Mcdermott. The trio’s blended years of playing is evident as they please audiences with non-stop foot-stompers, while creating enough space for shared blues and jazz inspired improvisations. They are available to book for parties, weddings, and events at your venue.

Dan offers drum tuition either at your home or at two different locations: one in Withington at a home studio, or at a studio on Pollard Street East. He offers a student lead approach, blending this with a more directive teaching style according to each individuals needs. Lessons include playing along to/learn your favourite songs, and strengthening techniques such as rudiments, grooves and time keeping. Dan can also help you work towards your grades for ABRSM. He incorporates music theory into lessons and is proud to have helped students of all ages (from 6-60) to reach their goals.

Dan has worked with local bands and artists, and continues to work with up and coming musicians who need drums for recording and live performance purposes. He supports artists with their original music, offering solid rhythm sections for a wide range of styles. His most recent work has seen him performing with jazz trios at Halcyon, accompanying with subtle brush technique, creating an atmosphere of chilled sophistication for those wanting to unwind.
